St. Justin School is the strong community that it is because of the support of our parents! The mission at St. Justin School is to instill the feeling of community by having every family volunteer to help the school in some way. There are numerous ways to volunteer, whether in the classroom, as a chair/co-chair of an event or fundraiser, or at one of our school events. We’re sure to have something that will fit your interests!

Volunteer

  • Opportunities to help at school-wide functions and in the classroom can be found in the principal’s newsletter, on social media, and below. Please be sure that you have completed your volunteer requirements prior to signing up. We are so grateful for your help with upcoming events!

  • Our community is such an integral part of St. Justin, and in order to foster a thriving community, each family is asked to volunteer for three shifts at events throughout the year. If you opt to chair an event or hold a yearlong position (like room parent or Project Cornerstone reader), all 3 of your events will be accounted for. Serving on a committee for one of our events fulfills two of your events, and each shift you volunteer for at an event fulfills one of your three shifts for the year.

  • All on-campus volunteers are required to sign in with our school secretary each day they volunteer. For the safety of students, volunteers are also required to be fingerprinted and must complete online safety training prior to any work on campus or field trips.

Please download the volunteer requirements checklist here.

  • The St. Justin School Finance Committee is a group of school parent leaders who advise our Principal and our Pastor on a wide range of school matters and demonstrate positive leadership within the school community. Meetings are monthly. To apply for a position on the Finance Committee, please email our Principal Nicole Sabbatini at nicole.sabbatini@dsj.org.

  • The goal of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is to promote and enhance the educational, financial, and social environment of the school community. PAC is generally responsible for coordinating fundraising projects, planning social functions, and providing parent volunteers for school events. PAC meetings are typically held on the third Monday of every month. All are welcome to attend. Please email us at pac@stjustinstudents.org if you have any questions or comments!
