There are many ways to get involved at St. Justin School! We are always looking for volunteers to serve on our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), be a room parent, chaperone field trips, coach one of our athletic teams, help with our hot lunch program, assist with our elementary science program, or serve as a grade-level coordinator for Project Cornerstone or Art Vista. St. Justin School Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)
The goal of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is to promote and enhance the educational, financial, and social environment of the school community. PAC is generally responsible for coordinating fundraising projects, planning social functions, and providing parent volunteers for school events. PAC meetings are typically held on the second Thursday of every month. All are welcome to attend.
Family Service Commitment
The mission at St. Justin School is to instill the feeling of community by having every family volunteer to help the school in some way. To learn more about this requirement, click here.
St. Justin has a thrift store on campus that sells gently used clothing, furniture, housewares, and more in order to raise funds for the school. Each family is required to work 36 hours/year (3 hours/month) in the store.
Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Diocesan Requirements for Volunteers
All volunteers (parents, relatives, etc.) who perform any volunteer work with our school (e.g., coaching, working at the Thrift Store, working in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, etc.) are required by the Diocese of San Jose to complete the following:
- Fingerprint clearance (through Verify Group in Campbell, CA)
- TB test
- VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training–available online at www.virtusonline.org
