Seder and Stations of the Cross
In order to provide a better understanding of our faith and spirituality in preparation for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, our students took part in the Seder Ceremony (Old Testament) and the Stations of the Cross (New Testament) on April 17. Ms. Nancy Floerke, Middle School Science Teacher, led the Seder ceremony with students partaking in the Passover meal (symbolized by each food item matza, parsley, etc.). The meaningful ceremony was followed by the Stations of the Cross narrated and re-enacted by 8th graders with the rest of the school participating in the prayers and the veneration of the cross. The whole morning was a solemn time for everyone.
