Math Problem of the Month

Math Problem of the Month: Double Down Today students in 3rd grade worked on math Problems of the Month (POM), The goal is for all students to have the experience of attacking and solving non‐routine problems and developing their mathematical reasoning skills. The mathematical topics in Double Down are doubling, tree diagrams, non‐linear functions, exponential growth, variables, modeling, solving equations, generalizing, and algebraic thinking. Mrs. Aguilar’s 3rd graders see solutions… not problems!  Students in each grade level will complete the Math Problem of the Month as part of the St. Justin School Math curriculum.
