100th Mass Certificate for a Sixth Grade Student

Adrian Gutierrez, a sixth grader at St. Justin School, was awarded a certificate for serving his 100th Mass as an altar server at St. Justin Parish.  This is indeed a rare accomplishment for a sixth grader!  Adrian has achieved this monumental feat so quickly because he regularly attends the 7:30 am Mass on Sunday.  Adrian has also served many school Masses and other special Masses along the way such as the Catholic Schools Week Mass, Christmas, and Easter.  Most recently, Adrian was responsible for the thurifer (incense) duties at the Children’s Christmas Eve Mass.    Adrian is an example of a St. Justin School student truly “living his faith!”
