Athletic Program

After School Athletic Program

George Santich and Patti Luddy, Athletic Directors

The St. Justin School Athletic Program is open to all students in grades 5-8.  It is a developmental program and students learn from the beginning how to play team sports.  The focus of our program is to teach good team skills and allow students to improve and play.  All students who sign up to play are on the team.  Attendance at practice is required for continuation on the team. We are proud to offer flag football, volleyball, basketball, and softball.  Athletic Directors Patti Luddy and George Santich coordinate our program. Contact the St. Justin Schoool Office for a copy of the Athletic Handbook.  Behavior codes and consequences are contained in it.  There is a $60.00 participation fee for each sport.  No student is kept from playing due to financial restraints.

St. Justin prides itself on the quality of sportsmanship evidenced by our players.  Throughout our program the coaches aspire to instill a level of fair play and Christian behavior in our athletes. All students are recognized for their contribution to the team effort.  The Sports Assembly at the end of the year recognizes each player and team.  In addition 8th graders are given individual trophies to signify their contribution during their last year. Each year an 8th grader is awarded the Colin Connolly award for the student athlete who best models the qualities of a hard working, dedicated and committed Christian athlete. This award is given in remembrance of a former student.
