An introduction to Spanish program is offered through IES Language Foundation to students entering 7th and 8th grade.  There is a fee for the program, and the students have to commit to the additional workload that may occur.  The hope is that it offers an exposure to Spanish so that students have an easier transition into taking a language in high school.  There is also an after school program for grades 1-6 that is taught by teachers from IES Language Foundation.
